Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Orders This Episode
  • Task Associations
  • Task Definitions
  • Task Group Definitions
Scenario 1: Task List - Task Group Definitions (Start of Group, End of Group, and Previous Task offsets)
Specific Setup:
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Task Definitions' form.
  2. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task Definition' field.
  3. Set the 'New Task Code' field to "Start" and press Tab.
  4. Set the 'Task Title' field to "Start Task" and click [Submit].
  5. Validate a message is displayed that states "Task Definitions has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [Yes].
  6. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task Definition' field.
  7. Set the 'New Task Code' field to "Previous" and press Tab.
  8. Set the 'Task Title' field to "Previous Task" and click [Submit].
  9. Validate a message is displayed that states "Task Definitions has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [Yes].
  10. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task Definition' field.
  11. Set the 'New Task Code' field to "End" and press Tab.
  12. Set the 'Task Title' field to "End Task" and click [Submit].
  13. Validate a message is displayed that states "Task Definitions has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [No].
  14. Access the 'Task Group Definitions' form.
  15. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task Group Definition' field.
  16. Set the 'New Task Group Code' field to "Group" and press Tab.
  17. Set the 'Task Group Definition' field to "Task Group".
  18. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task' field.
  19. Search for and select "Start Task" in the 'Task To Add' field.
  20. Select "Start of Group" in the 'Offset From Event' field.
  21. Set the 'Duration' field to "1" and press Tab.
  22. Select "Hours" in the 'Duration Units' field.
  23. Select "Every Hour" in the 'Frequency' field and click [Update Group].
  24. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task' field.
  25. Search for and select "Previous Task (Previous)" in the 'Task To Add' field.
  26. Set the 'Offset' field to "1" and press Tab.
  27. Select "Hours" in the 'Offset Units' field.
  28. Select "Previous Task" in the 'Offset From Event' field.
  29. Select "1 - Start Task (Start)" in the 'Offset From Event Task' field.
  30. Set the 'Duration' field to "1" and press Tab.
  31. Select "Hours" in the 'Duration Units' field.
  32. Select "Every Hour" in the 'Frequency' field and click [Update Group].
  33. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task' field.
  34. Search for and select "End Task (End)" in the 'Task To Add' field.
  35. Select "End of Group" in the 'Offset From Event' field.
  36. Set the 'Duration' field to "1" and press Tab.
  37. Select "Hours" in the 'Duration Units' field.
  38. Select "Every Hour" in the 'Frequency' field and click [Update Group] and [Submit].
  39. Validate a message is displayed that states: "Task Group Definitions has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [No].
  40. Access the 'Task Associations' form.
  41. Select "Task Group" in the 'Task Type' field.
  42. Search for and select "Task Group (Group)" in the 'Task Group/Definition' field.
  43. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit/Delete Association' field.
  44. Select "Order Entry" in the 'Order Event' field.
  45. Search for and select "XANAX 2 MG TABLET ORAL" in the 'Order Code' field.
  46. Click [Update Associations] and [Submit].
  47. Validate a message is displayed that states: "Task Associations has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [No].
  48. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  49. Search for and select "XANAX 2 MG TABLET ORAL" in the 'New Order' field.
  50. Set the 'Dose' field to "2".
  51. Select "MG" in the 'Dose Unit' field.
  52. Select "Every Hour" in the 'Freq' field.
  53. Set the 'Duration' field to "3" and click [Hours].
  54. Populate any remaining required fields and click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  55. Validate the 'Interactions' dialog is displayed.
  56. Override all interactions and click [Save Override and Exit].
  57. Access the 'Task List' widget.
  58. Search and select "Client A" in the 'Search Patients' field.
  59. Validate there are tasks for "Start Task" and "Previous Task" and that they are displayed one hour apart.
  60. Validate the task for "End Task" is displayed and is one to two hours apart from the "Previous Task" depending on the order Start Time.
  61. Hover over the "Start Task" and validate it contains one entry.
  62. Hover over the "Previous Task" and validate it contains one entry.
  63. Hover over the "End Task" and validate it contains one entry.
Scenario 2: Task List - Task Group - Generating Tasks When Associated via 'Order Type'
Specific Setup:
  • There must be at least one value defined in the Order Entry Tabled Files ‘(504) Reason Code Setup’ dictionary. (Reason Code A)
  • A Therapy-type order code must exist. (Therapy Code A)
  • A client must have an active episode. (Client A)
  • “Client A” must have a ‘Date of Birth’, ‘Sex’ and address on file in the ‘Update Client Data’ form, as well as information filed in the ‘Allergies and Hypersensitivities’ form, ‘Diagnosis’ form, and in the ‘Height’ and ‘Weight’ fields in the ‘Vitals Entry’ form.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Task Definitions' form.
  2. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task Definition' field.
  3. Set the 'New Task Code' field to "OEReason" and press Tab.
  4. Set the 'Task Title' field to "Order Entry - Reason Task" and click [Submit].
  5. Validate a message is displayed that states "Task Definitions has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [Yes].
  6. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task Definition' field.
  7. Set the 'New Task Code' field to "Start" and press Tab.
  8. Set the 'Task Title' field to "Start Task" and click [Submit].
  9. Validate a message is displayed that states "Task Definitions has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [Yes].
  10. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task Definition' field.
  11. Set the 'New Task Code' field to "Previous" and press Tab.
  12. Set the 'Task Title' field to "Previous Task" and click [Submit].

  23. Search for and select "Start Task" from the 'Task To Add' field.
  24. Select "Start of Group" in the 'Offset From Event' field.
  25. Set the 'Duration' field to "1" and press Tab.
  26. Select "Hours" in the 'Duration Units' field.
  27. Select "Every Hour" in the 'Frequency' field and click [Update Group].
  28. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task' field.
  29. Search for and select "Previous Task (Previous)" in the 'Task To Add' field.
  30. Set the 'Offset' field to "1" and press Tab.
  31. Select "Hours" in the 'Offset Units' field.
  32. Select "Previous Task" in the 'Offset From Event' field.
  33. Select "1 - Start Task (Start)" from the 'Offset From Event Task' field.
  34. Set the 'Duration' field to "1" and press Tab.
  35. Select "Hours" in the 'Duration Units' field.
  36. Select "Every Hour" in the 'Frequency' field and click [Update Group].
  37. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit Task' field.
  38. Search for and select "End Task (End)" in the 'Task To Add' field.
  39. Select "End of Group" in the 'Offset From Event' field.
  40. Set the 'Duration' field to "1" and press Tab.
  41. Select "Hours" in the 'Duration Units' field.
  42. Select "Every Hour" in the 'Frequency' field and click [Update Group] and [Submit].
  43. Validate a message is displayed that states: "Task Group Definitions has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [No].
  44. Access the 'Task Associations' form.
  45. Select "Task Definition" in the 'Task Type' field.
  46. Search for and select "Order Entry - Reason Task (OEReason)" in the 'Task Group/Definition' field.
  47. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit/Delete Association' field.
  48. Select "Order Entry" in the 'Order Event' field.
  49. Select "Reason Code A" in the 'Reason field.
  50. Click [Update Associations] and [Submit].
  51. Validate a message is displayed that states: "Task Associations has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [Yes].
  52. Select "Task Group" in the 'Task Type' field.
  53. Search for and select "Task Group (Group)" in the 'Task Group/Definition' field.
  54. Select "Add" in the 'Add/Edit/Delete Association' field.
  55. Select "Order Entry" in the 'Order Event' field.
  56. Search for and select "Therapy" in the 'Order Type' field.
  57. Click [Update Associations] and [Submit].
  58. Validate a message is displayed that states: "Task Associations has completed. Do you wish to return to form?" and click [No].
  59. Select "Client A" and access the Order Entry Console.
  60. Search for and select "Therapy Code A" in the 'New Order' field.
  61. Set the 'Duration' field to "4" and click [Hours].
  62. Complete any other required fields and click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  63. Access the 'Task List' widget.
  64. Search for and select "Client A" in the 'Search Patients' field.
  65. Validate the tasks labeled: "Start Task" and "Previous Task" are displayed and are one hour apart.
  66. Validate the task labeled: "End Task" is displayed under the hour column that is four hours after the column displaying the "Start Task".
  67. Hover the mouse over "Start Task" and validate it contains only one entry.
  68. Hover the mouse over "Previous Task" and validate it contains only one entry.
  69. Hover the mouse over "End Task" and validate it contains only one entry.
  70. Access the Order Entry Console.
  71. Select "Therapy Code A" and click [Modify]
  72. Select "Every Hour" in the 'Frequency' field.
  73. Select "Reason Code A" in the 'Reason' field.
  74. Click [Add to Scratchpad] and [Sign].
  75. Access the 'Task List' widget.
  76. Search for and select "Client A" in the 'Search Patients' field.
  77. Validate the tasks labeled: "Start Task", "Previous Task", and "End Task" are no longer displayed on the grid.
  78. Validate the task labeled: "Order Entry - Reason Task" is displayed under every column, for four hours, starting at the next closest hour.
  79. Hover the mouse over "Order Entry - Reason Task" and validate it contains only one entry.
