Product Update Form Description

The new fields 'Head Circumference (in)', 'Head Circumference (cm)', 'Head Occipital-frontal Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months)', 'Length (in)', 'Length (cm)', and 'Weight for Length Percentile (Birth - 36 months)' are added to the 'Vitals Entry' form. Please note, this update will reset 'Form Designer' changes for the 'Vitals Entry' form.

'Vitals Entry' form - New Fields
The following fields are added to the 'Vitals Entry' form:
- 'Head Circumference (in)'
- 'Head Circumference (cm)'
- 'Head Occipital-frontal Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months)'
- 'Length (in)'
- 'Length (cm)'
- 'Weight for Length Percentile (Birth - 36 months)'
The 'SYSTEM.cw_vital_signs' SQL table is updated accordingly.
In addition, the 'Restrict Length Entry To Specific Field' and 'Restrict Head Circumference Entry To Specific Field' registry settings are added. These settings give the user the ability to restrict the length/head circumference values to either inches or centimeters, if desired.
Value Added: The ability to capture additional information in the 'Vitals Entry' form

'Vitals Entry' form - New Fields
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Crystal Report Viewer
  • CWS Vital Signs Setup
  • Vitals Entry
  • SoapUI - ClientVitals - Save
  • Registry Settings (PM)
Scenario 1: Vitals Entry - Field Validations
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled an existing episode and is between the ages of 0-3 years old (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Vitals Entry' form.
  2. Select "Add" in the 'Update Vital Sign' field.
  3. Enter the desired date in the 'Date' field.
  4. Enter the desired time in the 'Time' field.
  5. Enter the desired value in the 'Weight (lbs)' field and validate the 'Weight (kgs)' field is calculated accordingly.
  6. Validate the 'Head Circumference (in)', 'Head Circumference (cm)' and 'Head Occipital-frontal Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months)' fields are displayed.
  7. Please note: these fields will only be enabled for a client between the ages of 0-3 years old.
  8. Enter the desired value in the 'Head Circumference (in)' field and validate the 'Head Circumference (cm)' field is populated accordingly. Note: if the 'Head Circumference (cm)' field is populated first, it will populate the 'Head Circumference (in)' field accordingly.
  9. For Avatar NX users only, please note: due to a known issue with the field label display in Avatar NX, the 'Head Circumference' text box should be used to populate 'Head Circumference (in)' and the 'Head Circumference (in)' field should be used to populate 'Head Circumference (cm)'. The 'Head Circumference (cm)' field should be ignored. If desired, use 'Form Designer' to rename/remove the fields accordingly.
  10. Validate the 'Head Occipital-Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months) field is populated based off the value entered in the 'Head Circumference' field. Note: this field is read-only.
  11. Validate the 'Length (in)', 'Length (cm)' and 'Weight for Length Percentile (Birth - 36 months) fields are displayed.
  12. Please note: these fields will only be enabled for a client between the ages of 0-3 years old.
  13. Enter the desired value in the 'Length (in)' field and validate the 'Length (cm)' field is populated accordingly. Note: if the 'Length (cm)' field is populated first, it will populate the 'Length (in)' field accordingly.
  14.   16. Populate any other desired fields.
  17. Click [Submit] and [Yes] to return to form.
  18. Select "Edit" in the 'Update Vital Sign' field.
  19. Click [Select Vital Sign].
  20. Select the vitals filed in the previous steps and click [OK].
  21. Validate the vitals filed in the previous steps are displayed.
  22. Validate the 'Weight' fields contain the values filed in the previous steps.
  23. Validate the 'Head Circumference' fields contain the values filed in the previous steps.
  24. Validate the 'Head Occipital-Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months)' field contains the value filed in the previous steps.
  25. Validate the 'Length' fields contain the values filed in the previous steps.
  26. Validate the 'Weight for Length Percentile (Birth - 36 months) field contains the value filed in the previous steps.
  27. Close the form.
Scenario 2: Vitals Entry - validate vitals in the 'Recent Vitals' widget for a client within the age 0-3
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode and is between 0-3 years old (Client A).
  • The 'Recent Vitals' widget is accessible on the HomeView.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Vitals Entry' form.
  2. Select "Add" in the 'Update Vital Sign' field.
  3. Enter the desired date in the 'Date' field.
  4. Enter the desired time in the 'Time' field.
  5. Enter the desired value in the 'Weight (lbs)' field and validate the 'Weight (kgs)' field is calculated accordingly.
  6. Enter the desired value in the 'Head Circumference (in)' field and validate the 'Head Circumference (cm)' field is populated accordingly. Note: if the 'Head Circumference (cm)' field is populated first, it will populate the 'Head Circumference (in)' field accordingly.
  7. Validate the 'Head Occipital-Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months) field is populated based off the value entered in the 'Head Circumference' field. Note: this field is read-only.
  8. Enter the desired value in the 'Length (in)' field and validate the 'Length (cm)' field is populated accordingly. Note: if the 'Length (cm)' field is populated first, it will populate the 'Length (in)' field accordingly.
  9. Validate the 'Weight for Length Percentile (Birth - 36 months)' field is populated based off the values entered in the 'Length' and 'Weight' fields. Note: this field is read-only.
  10. Populate any other desired fields.
  11. Click [Submit] and close the form.
  12. Select "Client A" and access the 'Recent Vitals' widget.
  13. Validate the 'Weight for Length Percentile (Birth - 36 months)' field is displayed and contains the proper value.
  14. Validate the 'Head Occipital-frontal Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months)' is displayed and contains the proper value.
  15. Validate all other vitals display properly.
Scenario 3: Vitals Entry - validate vitals in the 'Vital Signs' widget for a client within the age 0-3
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode and is between 0-3 years old (Client A).
  • The 'Vital Signs' widget is accessible on the HomeView.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Vitals Entry' form.
  2. Select "Add" in the 'Update Vital Sign' field.
  3. Enter the desired date in the 'Date' field.
  4. Enter the desired time in the 'Time' field.
  5. Enter the desired value in the 'Weight (lbs)' field and validate the 'Weight (kgs)' field is calculated accordingly.
  6. Enter the desired value in the 'Head Circumference (in)' field and validate the 'Head Circumference (cm)' field is populated accordingly. Note: if the 'Head Circumference (cm)' field is populated first, it will populate the 'Head Circumference (in)' field accordingly.
  7. Validate the 'Head Occipital-Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months) field is populated based off the value entered in the 'Head Circumference' field. Note: this field is read-only.

  12. Select "Client A" and access the 'Vital Signs' widget.
  13. Validate the 'Weight for Length Percentile (Birth - 36 months)' field is displayed and contains the proper value.
  14. Validate the 'Head Occipital-frontal Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months)' is displayed and contains the proper value.
  15. Validate all other vitals display properly.
Scenario 4: Vitals Entry - Validate the 'Restrict Length Entry To Specific Field' registry setting
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled an existing episode and is between the ages of 0-3 years old (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
  2. Enter "Restrict Length Entry To Specific Field" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.
  3. Click [View Registry Settings].
  4. Validate the 'Registry Setting' field contains "Avatar CWS->CWS Utilities->Set System Defaults->Vitals Entry->->Restrict Length Entry To Specific Field".
  5. Validate the 'Registry Setting Details' field contains "This setting is used to restrict the entry of length input fields on the 'Vitals Entry' form. Enter '0' if no restriction is required (any of the length fields can be used). Enter '1' to use length in inches. Enter '2' to use length in centimeters. If a restriction is implemented, the other fields will be disabled and will default to the converted value."
  6. Validate the 'Registry Setting Value' is "0". This is the default value, no restrictions are required.
  7. Enter "1" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.
  8. Click [Submit] and close the form.
  9. Select "Client A" and access 'Vitals Entry' form.
  10. Validate the 'Length (in)' field is enabled.
  11. Validate the 'Length (cm)' field is disabled.
  12. Close the form.
  13. Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
  14. Enter "Restrict Length Entry To Specific Field" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.
  15. Click [View Registry Settings].

  25. Click [View Registry Settings].
  26. Validate the 'Registry Setting' field contains "Avatar CWS->CWS Utilities->Set System Defaults->Vitals Entry->->Restrict Length Entry To Specific Field".
  27. Enter "0" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.

  29. Select "Client A" and access 'Vitals Entry' form.

Scenario 5: Vitals Entry - Validate the 'Restrict Head Circumference Entry To Specific Field' registry setting
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled an existing episode and is between the ages of 0-3 years old (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
  2. Enter "Restrict Head Circumference Entry To Specific Field" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.
  3. Click [View Registry Settings].
  4. Validate the 'Registry Setting' field contains "Avatar CWS->CWS Utilities->Set System Defaults->Vitals Entry->->Restrict Head Circumference Entry To Specific Field".
  5. Validate the 'Registry Setting Details' field contains "This setting is used to restrict the entry of head circumference input fields on the 'Vitals Entry' form. Enter '0' if no restriction is required (any of the head circumference fields can be used). Enter '1' to use head circumference in inches. Enter '2' to use head circumference in centimeters. If a restriction is implemented, the other fields will be disabled and will default to the converted value."
  6. Validate the 'Registry Setting Value' is "0". This is the default value, no restrictions are required.
  7. Enter "1" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.
  8. Click [Submit] and close the form.
  9. Select "Client A" and access 'Vitals Entry' form.
  10. Validate the 'Head Circumference (in)' field is enabled.
  11. Validate the 'Head Circumference (cm)' field is disabled.
  12. Close the form.
  13. Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
  14. Enter "Restrict Head Circumference Entry To Specific Field" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.

  24. Enter "Restrict Head Circumference Entry To Specific Field" in the 'Limit Registry Settings to the Following Search Criteria' field.
  25. Click [View Registry Settings].
  26. Validate the 'Registry Setting' field contains "Avatar CWS->CWS Utilities->Set System Defaults->Vitals Entry->->Restrict Head Circumference Entry To Specific Field".
  27. Enter "0" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.
  28. Click [Submit] and close the form.
  29. Select "Client A" and access 'Vitals Entry' form.
  30. Validate the 'Head Circumference (in)' field is enabled.
  31. Validate the 'Head Circumference (cm)' field is enabled.
  32. Close the form.
Scenario 6: CWS Vital Signs Setup
Steps
  1. Access the 'CWS Vital Signs Setup' form.
  2. Select the "Vital Sign Setup" section.
  3. Click [Add New Item].
  4. Validate the 'Vital Sign' field contains the following:
  5. Head Circumference (cm)
  6. Head Circumference (in)
  7. Length (cm)
  8. Length (in)
  9. Select "Head Circumference (cm)" in the 'Vital Sign' field.
  10. Populate all required and desired fields.
  11. Click [Add New Item].
  12. Select "Head Circumference (in)" in the 'Vital Sign' field.
  13. Populate all required and desired fields.
  14. Click [Add New Item].
  15. Select "Length (cm)" in the 'Vital Sign' field.
  16. Populate all required and desired fields.
  17. Click [Add New Item].
  18. Select "Length (in)" in the 'Vital Sign' field.
  19. Populate all required and desired fields.
  20. Click [Submit].
  21. Access the 'CWS Vital Signs Setup' form.
  22. Click [Launch Report].
  23. Validate the 'CWS Vital Signs Setup' report is displayed.
  24. Validate the report contains the items added in the previous steps.
  25. Close the report and the form.
Scenario 7: Validate the 'WEBSVC.ClientVitals' - 'Save' web service
Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode and is between the age of 0-3 years old (Client A).
Steps
  1. Access SoapUI for the 'ClientVitals' - 'Save' web service.
  2. Enter the system code that will be used to log into Avatar in the 'SystemCode' field.
  3. Enter the user name that will be used to log into Avatar in the 'UserName' field.
  4. Enter the password that will be used to log into Avatar in the 'Password' field.
  5. Enter "Client A" in the 'clientID' field.
  6. Enter the current date in the 'date' field.
  7. Enter the current time in the 'time' field.
  8. Enter "LengthCm" or "LengthIn" in the first 'readingCode' field.
  9. Enter the desired value in the first 'readingValue' field.
  10. Enter "WeightKg" or "WeightLb" in the second 'readingCode' field.
  11. Enter the desired value in the second 'readingValue' field.
  12. Enter "HCCm" or "HCIn" in the third 'readingCode' field.
  13. Enter the desired value in the third 'readingValue' field.
  14. Populate any other desired values.
  15. Click [Run].
  16. Validate the 'SaveResult' field contains "ClientVitals web service has been filed successfully".
  17. Select "Client A" and access the 'Vitals Entry' form.
  18. Select "Edit" in the 'Update Vital Sign' field.
  19. Click [Select Vital Sign].
  20. Select the vitals filed via web service and click [OK].
  21. Validate the 'Date' field contains the current date.
  22. Validate the 'Time' field contains the current time.
  23. Validate the 'Length (in)' and 'Length (cm)' fields are populated/calculated based off the values filed via web service.
  24. Validate the 'Weight (lbs)' and 'Weight (kgs)' fields are populated/calculated based off the values filed via web service.
  25. Validate the 'Head Circumference (in)' and 'Head Circumference (cm)' fields are populated/calculated based off the values filed via web service.
  26. Validate the 'Head Occipital-Circumference Percentile (Birth - 36 months) field is populated based off the value entered in the 'Head Circumference' field. Note: this field is read-only.
