Product Update Description

The following issues are resolved: 1) Audit data in the "SYSTEM.patient_demographic_history" table may be incorrect when a 'PutClient' action updates client data via ProviderConnect Enterprise. 2) The 'InsurancePolicyDeleted' event may also trigger a 'ClientDeleted' event, which incorrectly removes client data from the data store. 3) The 'PutClient' action allows invalid codes for the "Marital Status" field. 4) The 'PutClient' action removes the Zip+4 value if it is set to "-0000". 5) Episodic Pregnancy data does not include access tags based on the admission program. 6) EhrAssessmentDate does not currently include an assessment date. 7) The 'Managing Organization Dictionary Mapping' form does not properly remap dictionary codes for the "Sexual Orientation" field on Client actions and events.

Scenario 1: ProviderConnect Enterprise- Validate the 'PutClient' action
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Avatar CareFabric->ProviderConnect Enterprise->Contracting Providers->->->Enable External Connections' must be set to "Y".
  • The 'Managing Organization Definition' form must be defined for a valid managing organization.
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode and be mapped to the defined managing organization in the 'ProviderConnect Enterprise Identifiers' section of the 'Admission' form (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Update Client Data' form.
  2. Enter any zip code +4 code in the 'Client's Address - Zipcode' field.
  3. Select the desired value in the 'Marital Status' field.
  4. Select the desired value in the 'Sexual Orientation' field.
  5. Update any other desired fields.
  6. Click [Submit].
  7. Access the 'ProviderConnect Enterprise Action Log'.
  8. Enter the desired dates in the 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  9. Enter the desired times in the 'From Time' and 'Through Time' fields.
  10. Select the desired organization in the 'Managing Organization' field.
  11. Select "PutClient" in the 'Action Name' field.
  12. Click [View Action Log].
  13. Validate the 'ProviderConnect Enterprise Action Log' Report is displayed.
  14. Validate the 'ProviderConnect Enterprise Action Log' Report contains the 'PutClient' action that was triggered from the 'Update Client Data' form with a "Success" result.

Specific Setup:
  • A client is enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Financial Eligibility' form.
  2. Add a new guarantor and populate all required fields.
  3. Submit the form.
  4. Access the 'CareFabric Monitor' form.
  5. Enter the current date in 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  6. Select "Client A" in the 'Client ID' field.
  7. Click [View Activity Log].
  8. Validate the 'CareFabric Monitor Report' contains "ClientUpdated" and "InsurancePolicyCreated".
  9. Click [Click To View Record] for the "InsurancePolicyCreated" record.
  10. Validate the 'Financial Eligibility' data filed in the previous steps is displayed.
  11. Close the report and the form.
  12. Select "Client A" and access the 'Financial Eligibility' form.
  13. Delete the guarantor filed in the previous steps.
  14. Submit the form.
  15. Access the 'CareFabric Monitor' form.
  16. Enter the current date in 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  17. Select "Client A" in the 'Client ID' field.
  18. Click [View Activity Log].
  19. Validate the 'CareFabric Monitor Report' contains "ClientUpdated" and "InsurancePolicyDeleted".

Specific Setup:
  • At least one program has a value of 'Yes' in 'Substance Abuse Program (Cal-OMS)'.
  • A client has been admitted to the above program (Client A).
  • Client A has no existing Cal-OMS Admission record.
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'Cal-OMS Admission' form.
  2. Select "Client A's" Cal-OMS episode from the Pre-Display and click [OK].
  3. Enter the current date in the 'Admission Date' field.
  4. Select the program from the pre-conditions in the 'Location of Admission' field.
  5. Select the desired value in the 'Level of Care Admitted' field.
  6. Populate all other required and desired fields.
  7. Click [Submit] and [Continue Filing].
  8. Access the 'CareFabric Monitor' form.
  9. Enter the current date in the 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  10. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client ID' field.
  11. Click [View Activity Log].
  12. Validate the 'CareFabric Monitor Report' is displayed and contains an 'EhrAssessmentResultCreated' event.
  13. Select the 'EhrAssessmentResultCreated' event and click [Click To View Record].
  14. Validate the 'assessmentDate' field contains the current date.
  15. Validate all filed information is populated.
  16. Close the report and form.
Scenario 2: File the 'CSI Assessment' form and validate the 'EhrAssessmentResultCreated' event
Specific Setup:
  • At least one program has a value of 'Yes' in 'Mental Health Program (CSI)'.
  • A client has been admitted to the above program with yesterday's date (Client A).
Steps
  1. Select "Client A" and access the 'CSI Assessment' form.
  2. Select "Client A's" CSI Episode in the Pre-Display and click [OK].
  3. Enter the current date in the 'Date Of First Contact To Request Services' field.
  4. Enter the current date in the 'Assessment Appointment First Offer Date' field.
  5. Populate all other required and desired fields.
  6. Click [Submit].
  7. Access the 'CareFabric Monitor' form.
  8. Enter the current date in the 'From Date' and 'Through Date' fields.
  9. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client ID' field.
  10. Click [View Activity Log].
  11. Validate the 'CareFabric Monitor Report' is displayed and contains an 'EhrAssessmentResultCreated' event.
