Avatar CareFabric - Support for time zones
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Flowsheet
- Registry Settings (PM)
Scenario 1: Flowsheet - 'Laboratory' and 'Microbiology' results - Validate the 'Time Zone Offset' registry setting when set to "-1"
Specific Setup:
- Must have access to the Flowsheet application and have 'Labs & Microbiology' assessments published.
- Have a client with lab results configured with the following statuses: "Ordered", "Collected", "Received", "Cancelled", "Resulted", "Correction", "Voided".
- Have a client with microbiology results configured with the following statuses: "Ordered", "Collected", "Received", "Cancelled", "Preliminary", "Final", "Supplemental", "Correction" and "Voided".
Steps
- Access the 'Registry Settings' form.
- Enter "Time Zone Offset" in the 'Select Registry Setting' field.
- Click [View Registry Settings].
- Select "Time Zone Offset" and click [OK].
- Validate the 'Registry Setting Details' field contains: "Define the time zone offset for a facility in hours as a positive or negative integer."
- Enter time zone offset value "-1" in the 'Registry Setting Value' field.
- Click [Submit] and close the form.
- In Avatar, navigate to the "Flowsheet" widget.
- Search and select the desired client.
- Click the "Labs" collection tab.
- Verify the desired lab results are displayed as expected.
- Navigate to the "Ordered" status lab result.
- Verify the "Status" field is populated as "Ordered".
- Verify the "Order Date/Time" field is populated with the expected order date and time as set by the time zone offset value in the registry settings.
- Verify the "Ordered By" field is populated with the expected practitioner.
- Navigate to the "Collected" status lab result.
- Verify the "Status" field is populated as "Collected".
- Verify the "Collected Date/Time" field is populated with the expected collection date and time as set by the time zone offset value in the registry settings.
- Verify the "Collected By" field is populated with the expected practitioner.
- Navigate to the "Canceled" status lab result.
- Verify the "Status" field is populated as "Canceled".
- Verify the "Canceled Date/Time" field is populated with the expected canceled date and time as set by the time zone offset value in the registry settings.

- Select the client with the microbiology results.

- Verify the "Status" field is populated as "Ordered".
- Verify the "Ordered Date/Time" field is populated with the expected order date and time as set by the time zone offset value in the registry settings.
- Navigate to the "Collected" status microbiology result.
- Verify the "Status" field is populated as "Collected".
- Verify the "Specimen Collected Date/Time" field is populated with the expected collected date and time as set by the time zone offset value in the registry settings.
- Navigate to the "Correction" status microbiology result.
- Verify the "Status" field is populated as "Correction".

- In Avatar, navigate to the "Flowsheet" widget.
- Select the client from the pre-conditions.
- Click the "Labs" tab.
- Verify the client doesn't have any lab orders.
- Navigate to the "Avatar eMAR" widget.
- Search for the desired lab order in the 'New Order' field.
- Set the 'Frequency' as "Once".
- Enter the 'Start Date' field with an early time based on frequency configuration.
- Verify the 'First Collect' is displayed with the expected date and time based on the frequency configuration.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Verify the 'Ordering Practitioner' is displayed with an expected practitioner.
- Click [Sign].
- Repeat steps 1-3.
- Verify the desired lab order is displayed as expected.
- Verify the corresponding "Status" field is populated as "Ordered".
- Verify the 'Collected Date' is displayed as expected.
- Repeat steps 5-9.
- Update the 'Start Date' time after the frequency mode setup time.
- Verify the 'First Collect' date and time are displayed with tomorrow's date.
- Click [Add to Scratchpad].
- Verify the 'Ordering Practitioner' is displayed with an expected practitioner.

- Set the 'Frequency' as "Recurring" based on the Frequency mode configuration.

- Verify the 'Ordering Practitioner' is loaded with the expected practitioner.

- Select the client with a lab order.
- Click the "Labs" tab.

- Verify voided lab results are not displayed as expected
- Check the "Include Voided Results" checkbox
- Navigate to the desired lab order that has "Voided" lab results
- Verify the "Voided" lab results are displayed as expected
- Verify the 'Collected Time' has a strikeout with "VOID" displayed nearby
- Verify the 'Collected Result Information' has a strikeout for the particular lab result
- Click [Order Details]
- Verify the lab status is changed to "VOIDED"
- Verify the "Voided Date/Time" is filled with the voided lab result time
- Verify the "Voided By" is filled with the voided lab result practitioner name
- Click [X]
