Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Staff Members Hours And Exceptions
  • Scheduling Calendar
Scenario 1: Staff Members Hours and Exceptions - Validate the 'Staff Member Hours' grid when outreach scheduling is enabled
Specific Setup:
  • The 'Enable Outreach Scheduling' registry setting must be enabled. This must be done by a Netsmart Associate.
  • Dictionary values must be defined for the "Priority" dictionary ('Appointment Staff File' - Data Element '20063') in the 'Dictionary Update' form.
  • Dictionary values must be defined for the "Zone(s)" dictionary ('Appointment Staff File' - Data Element '20061') in the 'Dictionary Update' form.
  • A practitioner is defined in the 'Practitioner Enrollment' form with programs selected in the 'Program Availability' field (Practitioner A).
  • "Practitioner A" must not have any information filed in the 'Staff Members Hours and Exceptions' form.
  • "Practitioner A" must be configured in the 'Staff Scheduling Defaults' form. This must be done by a Netsmart Associate.
Steps
  1. Select "Practitioner A" and access the 'Staff Members Hours And Exceptions' form.
  2. Click [Staff Member Hours].
  3. Verify the 'Staff Member Hours' table is displayed.
  4. Verify the 'Zones' field is populated.
  5. Verify the 'Program Availability' field is populated.
  6. Verify the 'Slot Length' field is populated.
  7. Click [New Row].
  8. Enter the current date in the 'Effective date' field.
  9. Select "2-Monday" in the 'Day' field.
  10. Select any value in the 'Site' field and press the 'Tab' key.
  11. Enter "9:00 AM" in the 'Start Time' field and press the 'Enter' key.
  12. Enter "5:00 PM" in the 'End Time' field and press the 'Enter' key.
  13. Select "0-None" in the 'Preferred Appointment Start Time' field.
  14. Click [New Row].
  15. Enter the current date in the 'Effective date' field.
  16. Select "3-Tuesday" in the 'Day' field.
  17. Select any value in the 'Site' field and press the 'Tab' key.
  18. Enter "9:00 AM" in the 'Start Time' field and press the 'Enter' key.
  19. Enter "5:00 PM" in the 'End Time' field and press the 'Enter' key.
  20. Select "1-On the Hour (:00)" in the 'Preferred Appointment Start Time' field.
  21. Click [New Row].
  22. Enter the current date in the 'Effective date' field.
  23. Select any value in the 'Site' field and press the 'Tab' key.
  24. Enter "9:00 AM" in the 'Start Time' field and press the 'Enter' key.
  25. Enter "5:00 PM" in the 'End Time' field and press the 'Enter' key.
  26. Select "2-On the Half-Hour (:30)" in the 'Preferred Appointment Start Time' field.
  27. Click [Save].
  28. Validate a "Confirm" message is displayed stating: Exit Grid? Save Successful.
  29. Click [Yes] and [Submit].
  30. Select "Practitioner A" and access the 'Staff Members Hours And Exceptions' form.
  31. Click [Staff Member Hours].
  32. Validate the 'Staff Members Hours' table contains the data filed in the previous steps.
  33. Click [Close/Cancel]
  34. Close the form.
