Site Registration - 'Time Zone' field
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
  • Scheduling Calendar
  • Site Registration
Scenario 1: Scheduling Calendar - Add/Edit Appointment
Specific Setup:
  • A client must be enrolled in more than one episode (Client A).
  • Must have an existing site defined without a time zone defined (Site A).
  • Must have an existing site defined with a time zone defined in the 'Site Registration' form (Site B).
  • Must have 3 users with associated practitioners that have hours for "Site A" and "Site B":
  • One with no time zone configured (User A).
  • One with same time zone configured as user's local time zone (User B).
  • One with a different time zone configured as user's local time zone (User C).
  • Please note: This is for Avatar NX systems only.
Steps
  1. Login as "User A".
  2. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  3. Select "Site A" in the 'Site' field.
  4. Validate no time zone displays on the calendar.
  5. Select "Site B" in the 'Site' field.
  6. Validate the time zone associated with the site displays.
  7. Right click in the 'Appointment Grid' and click [Add Appointment].
  8. Enter the desired service code in the 'Service Code' field.
  9. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  10. Select "Episode 1" in the 'Episode Number' field.
  11. Click [Submit].
  12. Right click on the appointment created in the previous steps.
  13. Click [Details/Edit].
  14. Select "Episode 2" in the 'Episode Number' field.
  15. Click [Submit].
  16. Validate successful submission.
  17. Click [Dismiss].
  18. Log out.
  19. Login as "User B".
  20. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  21. Select "Site A" in the 'Site' field.
  22. Verify no time zone displays on the calendar.
  23. Select "Site B" in the 'Site' field.
  24. Validate the time zone associated with the site displays.
  25. Right click in the 'Appointment Grid' and click [Add Appointment].
  26. Enter the desired service code in the 'Service Code' field.
  27. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  28. Select "Episode 1" in the 'Episode Number' field.
  29. Click [Submit].
  30. Right click on the appointment created in the previous steps.
  31. Click [Details/Edit].
  32. Select "Episode 2" in the 'Episode Number' field.
  33. Click [Submit].
  34. Validate successful submission.
  35. Click [Dismiss].
  36. Log out.
  37. Login as "User C".
  38. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar' form.
  39. Select "Site A" in the 'Site' field.
  40. Verify there are two time zones displayed on the calendar: The user defined time zone on the left and the local time zone on the right.
  41. Navigate to the day "11/14/2022".
  42. Validate the time zone changes to Standard time.
  43. Navigate to a day prior to "11/7/2022".
  44. Validate the time zone changes back to daylight savings time.
  45. Select "Site B" in the 'Site' field.
  46. Validate the time zone associated with the site displays.
  47. Right click in the 'Appointment Grid' and click [Add Appointment].
  48. Enter the desired service code in the 'Service Code' field.
  49. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  50. Select "Episode 1" in the 'Episode Number' field.
  51. Click [Submit].
  52. Right click on the appointment created in the previous steps.
  53. Click [Details/Edit].
  54. Select "Episode 2" in the 'Episode Number' field.
  55. Click [Submit].
  56. Validate successful submission.
  57. Click [Dismiss].
Scenario 2: Site Registration - Add a site with hours of operation
Specific Setup:
  • Please note: This is for Avatar NX systems only.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Site Registration' form.
  2. Enter any value in the 'Select Site' field (Site A).
  3. Click [New Site].
  4. Validate a 'Site' dialog stating: "Auto Assign Next ID Number?"
  5. Click [Yes].
  6. Validate the 'Site Name' field contains "Site A".
  7. Enter the desired value in the 'Site Registration Date' field.
  8. Populate all required and desired fields.
  9. Select "Yes" in the 'Copy Information From An Existing Site?' field.
  10. Validate a 'Warning' dialog stating: "Copying information from an existing site will overwrite current 'Site Registration' Information. You must file this form prior to viewing/editing the 'Site Registration' information. Do you want to continue?" and click [Yes].
  11. Validate the 'Select Existing Site' field is enabled and required.
  12. Select "No" in the 'Copy Information From An Existing Site?' field.
  13. Validate the 'Select Existing Site' field is disabled.
  14. Select "All" in the 'Associated Programs' field.
  15. Verify the 'Time Zone' field is present and required.
  16. Select the desired value in the 'Time Zone' field.
  17. Click [Site Hours of Operation].
  18. Add the desired hours of operation and click [Save].
  19. Validate an 'Exit Grid' dialog stating: "Save Successful." and click [Yes].
  20. Click [Submit].
  21. Access the 'Site Registration' form.
  22. Enter "Site A" in the 'Select Site' field.
  23. Validate the form populates with the values entered in the previous steps.
  24. Close the form.
Scenario 3: Site Registration - Edit an existing site
Specific Setup:
  • A site must be defined (Site A).
  • User must not have a time zone defined in 'User Definition' (User A).
  • A client must be enrolled in an existing episode (Client A).
  • Log in as "User A".
  • Please note: This is for Avatar NX systems only.
Steps
  1. Access the 'Site Registration' form.
  2. Enter "Site A" in the 'Select Site' field.
  3. Validate the form opens populated with the data for "Site A".
  4. Select the desired value in the 'Time Zone' field.
  5. Click [Submit].
  6. Access the 'Scheduling Calendar'.
  7. Select "Site A" in the 'Site' field.
  8. Validate the time zone chosen in the previous steps displays in the left-hand corner of the calendar.
  9. Right click in the 'Appointment Grid' and click [Add Appointment].
  10. Enter the desired service code in the 'Service Code' field.
  11. Enter "Client A" in the 'Client' field.
  12. Select "Episode 1" in the 'Episode Number' field.
  13. Click [Submit].
  14. Validate the appointment displays.
  15. Click [Dismiss].
