'Fast Dose Dispensing' client search validation
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Quick Medication Order
- Medication Order Report
- Fast Dose Dispensing
Scenario 1: Client selection validation in the Avatar AM 'Fast Dose Dispensing' form.
Specific Setup:
- Registry Setting 'RADplus->Database Management->RxConnect->->->Enable RxConnect Facility ID' is set to 'Y'
- The 'Facility ID' field is blank in the 'System Code Definition' form for sub system codes.
- The 'Controlling Physician' field in the 'Inventory Location Table' is set to any physician who is not entered in the 'AM Facility Defaults' form.
- The 'Multi-Clinic Facility?' field in AM Facility Defaults' form is set to 'Yes'.
- A client (Client A) is admitted to a program associated to a system code (SubSystemCodeA).
Steps
- Log into Avatar using the subsystem code for Client A [SubSystemCodeA]
- Open 'Quick Medication Order' form.
- Select 'Client A' from the 'Select Client' search window.
- Verify the 'Ordering Practitioner' field is populated with the practitioner from the 'Controlling Physician' field in the 'Inventory Location Table' form.
- Select any value in the 'Medication Type' drop down field.
- Set the 'Effective Date' to the current date.
- Select 'Short' from the 'Order Type' field.
- Set the 'Expiration Date' to any date in the future.
- Set the 'Dosage 1' field to any dosage.
- Client [Medication Order Schedule].
- Review the Medication Order Schedule and click [OK].
- Click [Submit].
- Click [Yes] on the 'Print Medication Order Report?' dialog display window.
- Verify the 'Ordered By' field is populated practitioner from the 'Controlling Physician' field in the 'Inventory Location Table' form.
- Click [Close Report].
- Click [No] on the 'Submitting has completed. Do you wish to return to the form?' dialog display window.
- Open 'Fast Dose Dispensing' form.
- Enter 'Client A' in the 'Client ID' field.
- Verify the client is present in the search selection.
- Select 'Client A'.
- Complete dispensing as needed.

'Adjust Inventory' modified to expand the 'Amount (mg)' field to 2 decimals.

Scenario 1: Adjust Inventory - field validations
Specific Setup:
- Inventory has been received in the 'Receive Inventory' form.
Steps
- Open the 'Adjust Inventory' form.
- Select the bottle to adjust in the 'Bottle Label' field. Note the bottle label for use later in this test.
- Select any value in the 'Adjustment Reason' drop down field.
- Select 'Decrease' in the 'Increase or Decrease' field.
- Enter a value in the 'Amount(mg)' field to include 2 decimal positions.
- Tab out of the field.
- Verify that the decimal positions are retained.
- Enter any text in the 'Note' field.
- Click [File]
- Click [OK] on the 'Adjust Inventory' 'Filed' pop-up window.
- Repeat the above steps 4-10, selecting 'Increase' in the 'Increase or Decrease' field.
- Click [Close form].
- Open the 'Adjust Inventory' form again.
- Select one of the same bottles used above in the 'Bottle Label' field.
- Verify the 'Unit Volume(mg)' contains the correct volume based on the prior adjustment, including the 2 decimal positions.
- Click [Close Form].

Avatar AM 'Front Desk Information' - 'Launch Work Screen' validation
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:

Scenario 1: Front Desk Information - Validate the 'Launch Work Screen'
Specific Setup:
- Registry Setting 'Allow Amount Splitting' must be set to 'Y'.
- A client (Client A) must have financial eligibility with 2 or more Guarantor/Payors filed.
Steps
- Open 'Front Desk Information' form.
- Set the 'Client Id' to Client A
- Select an episode from the 'Episode' drop down list.
- Click [Deposit Entry].
- Set the 'Date Of Receipt Or Adjustment' to the appropriate date.
- Set the 'Amount To Post' to the appropriate amount for the client.
- Click [Launch Work Screen].
- Validate the 'Total Amount to Post' is displayed on the bottom of the screen.
- Click in the 'Payor' field.
- Select a payor for the posting from the drop down list.
- Click in the 'Posting Code' field.
- Select the appropriate posting code from the drop down list.
- Click in the 'Posting Amount' field.
- Enter the dollar amount to be posted for the selected payor.
- Verify the 'Amount Posted' and the 'Remaining Amount To Post' fields are updated based on the 'Posting Amount' entered.
- Click [New Row].
- Click in the 'Payor' field.
- Select a different payor for the posting from the drop down list.
- Click in the 'Posting Code' field.
- Select the appropriate posting code from the drop down list.
- Click in the 'Posting Amount' field.
- Enter the dollar amount to be posted for the selected payor.
- Verify the 'Amount Posted' is updated to the total of the two payor entries. This total amount should equal what is displayed in the 'Total Amount to Post' field.
- Verify the 'Remaining Amount To Post' is equal to zero.
- Click [New Row]. Do not enter any data into the row.
- Click [Accept] to return to the 'Deposit Entry' form.
- Click [File]. A pop-up window will display: "The 'Amount To Post' was not specified in the Row #2"
- Click [OK].
- Click [Launch Work Screen].
- Verify the blank row is now removed.
- Click [Accept] to return to the 'Deposit Entry' form.
- Click [File].
- Click [OK] on the 'Deposit Entry Filed' pop-up window.
- Click [View Ledger].
- Verify the amounts posted are reflecting the report.
- Click [Close Report].
- Click [Close Form].

Scenario 1: 'Dispensing Activity By Client' report - validate 'Time Zone Offset' registry settings
Specific Setup:
- Registry Setting 'Time Zone Offset' is set to -3
- Registry Setting 'Time Zone Offset in Data Entry Fields' is set to '1'. Setting this to '1' will allow the time zone offset to be used in filing of date and time fields. When this setting is set to '0', data for the date and time fields will not reflect the Time Zone Offset.
- Client A has a current medication order on file for the Avatar AM 'Fast Dose Dispensing' form.
Steps
- Open 'Fast Dose Dispensing' form for Client A.
- Click [Dispense].
- On the 'Dispense' window, verify the data is correct and click [Dispense].
- Click [Return].
- Click [Close Form]
- Open 'Dispensing Activity by Client' report for Client A.
- Verify the time stamp displayed is correct based on the Registry Settings for the time zone offset.
- Close the report.

'Treatment Plan Status Override' displays all finalized client treatment plans.
Note - These testing guidelines assume the user is skilled in the use of, at a minimum, the following:
- Client Treatment Plan (AM)
- Treatment Plan Status Override (AM)
Scenario 1: The 'Treatment Plan Status Override (AM)' form will display all Finalized plans.
Specific Setup:
- Client (Client A) has one or more treatment plans filed in the 'Client Treatment Plan (AM)' form.
Steps
- Open the 'Treatment Plan Status Override' form for Avatar AM.
- Select a client (Client A) in the "Select Client ID" field.
- Select an episode that has finalized treatment plans filed in the 'Client Treatment Plan (AM)' form.
- Click the 'Select Treatment Plan' drop down list field.
- All finalized treatment plans will display.
- Select any plan from the list.
- Enter any text in the 'Reason' field.
- Click [Submit].
- Click [No] to not return to the form.
- Open the 'Client Treatment Plan (AM)' form.
- Select the Client A.
- Double click on the record which was set back to 'Draft'.
- Verify the 'Tx Plan Version' field is set to 'Draft'
- Click [Close Form].
