About myAvatar eMAR
myAvatar eMAR is an electronic version of a Medication Administration Record (MAR). It allows you to monitor and administer medication orders as part of a closed loop medication management system when integrated with Avatar Order Entry and RxConnect.
The myAvatar eMAR interface is very similar to the look of a paper MAR, and provides a complete record of medication activities, including:
- Patient identification
- All medications ordered for the patient
- Dosing schedule and administrations
- Patient drug allergies and diagnoses
- Other clinically relevant information, including height, weight, date of birth, and attending practitioner.
The myAvatar eMAR module provides a Notes section for practitioners.
