Internal Referral Waitlist - PM
Manage internal referrals assigned to you that have been put on hold.
- Go to: Avatar PM > Referral Management
- The Internal Referral grid displays all open referrals that have been marked with a status of Waitlist and assigned to you in the Internal Referrals Type Maintenance form.
- Use the Add or Edit field to manage the waitlist. Clients are added to the waitlist as a result of processing a referral, but they can also be added manually.
- Click Export Internal Referral Waitlist to generate a file of the existing waitlist information.
- The Internal Referral Information field additional details about the referral.
- In the Internal Referral Date field, select the date that the referral was created.
- In the Select Client field, select the client to create a referral for directly from the waitlist form.
- In the Episode field, select the specific client episode.
- In the Waitlist Type field, select the internal referral type.
- In the Waitlist Status field, select whether the referral status is:
- Closed (Send To Do Item)
- Removed
- Waitlist
- In the Reason for Closure field, indicate why this referral was closed.
- In the Reason for Removal field, indicate why this referral was removed.
- In the Waitlist Comments/Disposition field, enter any additional remarks that might be useful to clarify the chosen status.
Note: These comments will appear in the To-Do alert for the user who initiated the referral.- If this user is no longer active in the system and/or the client is no longer on that user's caseload, the To-Do alert will be routed to the attending practitioner for the client episode associated with the referral.
- If the client is no longer active in that episode, the To-Do alert will be sent to any attending practitioner assigned to any active episodes for the client.
- In the Priority field, indicate the priority of this referral.
- Click Process Waitlist Item. This will create a To-Do item for the users indicated on the referral type (Internal Referral Type Maintenance form).
