Review sent and received referrals

Prerequisites:
- Referrals must be defined in the Referral Management Configuration form.
- The facility must be running RADplus Server Version 2011, and Netsmart CareConnect 1.4.
Note: This form is used in the Referrals/CCD Generation process for Promoting Interoperability (Meaningful Use).
Both the Received and Sent sections contain the following:
Filters
The settings for these filters are saved for each user who accesses the Inbox, so that when you return to the form, the view will maintain the same selections as when you last exited the form. In addition, although the filters are identical, the Sent and Received tabs maintain their selections separately.
- Provider - Filter by the providers that are available in the referrals list.
- Days - Filter by date range.
- Status - Filter by referral status.
- Show All - Click this button to override the Provider, Days, and Status filters and show all of the available referrals in the list.
- Archived - Check this box to include referrals that have been archived.

Buttons
- Refresh - Updates the referral view.
- Archive - Marks any currently selected rows as "Archived."
- Close Referrals - Closes the form.
Click the magnifying glass icon next to a referral to view the details for the referral.
New referrals can only be accepted or rejected on the Received tab.
Accepting a Referral
- Accept the referral.
Note: Accepting a referral sends an activity update to the referring provider.
Rejecting a Referral
- Reject the referral.
- A dialog displays. Enter the reject reason.
- The rejected referral is sent to the originating provider.
- The rejecting reason displays in the Status section.

Archiving a Referral
- Select one or more referrals from the list.
- Click the Archive button.
- In the confirmation window, click Yes.
The status of the selected record(s) will be changed to "Archived" and removed from the screen.
If the Archived filter is enabled, the referral rows will display with gray shading, and a status of "Archived."
Un-archiving a Referral
- Check the Archived filter to display any archived records.
- Select one or more of the archived referrals from the list.
Note: The Archive button will update to an enabled Un-archive button only if archived records have been selected. If you select records with differing statuses, then the button will remain disabled. - Click the Un-archive button.
The records will return to their previous status.
