eMAR NX Hourly View - Top row action buttons

In eMAR NX the top row in the Hourly view includes action buttons and options for filtering the order list and selecting the view and hours.

Action buttons

Button Description
Collapse Collapse order details leaving a condensed list of medications sorted 

Client Note

Open a Client Note dialog allowing the user to enter eMAR specific client notes

  • The Client Note button displays an orange dot when a previous note exists for the client in context. No orange dot displays when there are no client notes for the client in context.
Acknowledge Open an Order Acknowledgement dialog allowing you to bulk acknowledge all orders that require an acknowledgement
Educate Open a Medication Education dialog allowing you to bulk educate all orders that require education
Follow Ups Open an Administration Follow-Up dialog allowing you to complete all due/overdue follow ups for the client in context
Now Make the leftmost hourly column the current hour (same as initial load)

Top-row options

Option Description
Filter
  • Filter the displayed order list:
    • All (default) - Display all orders
    • Due Now - Display orders that have doses due within the allowable window with respect to the current date/time
    • Due Now plus PRN - Display orders that have doses due within the allowable window with respect to the current date/time AND also include PRN orders
    • Inactive - Display inactive orders (expired and discontinued)
    • Overdue - Only display orders that have doses that are past due and outside the allowable window with respect to the current date/time
    • Other - Only display Other priority orders
    • PRN - Only display PRN priority orders
    • Routine - Only display Routine priority orders
    • STAT/NOW - Only display STAT/NOW priority orders
View

Select the eMAR NX view:

  • Hourly (default) - columns are hourly with the current hour set as the leftmost column
  • Daily - columns are daily and the current day is set as the rightmost column by default 
Hours

Specify an hour of the current calendar day to use in the leftmost column:

  • For example: 0800, 08:00, 08:00 AM
