Post-Test - STD module

In the STD module, the Post-Test form is where you document the actions taken regarding HIV post-test counseling and the disclosure of test results.

On the main menu navigate to HIV > Post-Test.

Add post-test and disclosure information

  1. The OAIDS Specimen Number that appears at the top of the form is entered on the Pre-Test.
  2. For each of the following items, select Yes if the action took place.
    1. Patient agrees OAIDS number on lab results matches return appointment slip.
    2. Disclosure session conducted
    3. Post-Test counseling performed
    4. Referrals provided
  3. In the Disclosure Session Conducted By box, click the arrow and select the staff member.
  4. In the Reason Disclosure Session Not Conducted panel, select the check box for each reason that applies to the patient. If Other is selected, enter a description in the box provided.
  5. If none of the reasons for not conducting a disclosure session are selected, enter a description in the box provided.
  6. On the toolbar above the menu, click the Save icon .
