Genital Exam - STD module

In the STD module, the Genital form is where you document the results of the patient's genital exam. The areas covered on the form are based on the patient's sex.

On the main menu navigate to Physical Exam > Genital.

Complete a genital exam

Female patients

  1. For the following areas, select the check box for each choice that applies to the patient.  
    • Inguinal Nodes
    • Pubic Hair
    • Vulva/Vagina 
    • Cervix
    • Bimanual Exam
    • Anal
  2. In the Vaginal Discharge panel, for each of the following items, select the choice that best applies to the patient.
    • Amount
    • Character
  3. On the toolbar above the menu, click the Save icon .

Male patients

  1. For the following areas, select the check box for each choice that applies to the patient.  
    • Inguinal Nodes
    • Pubic Hair
    • Penis
    • Scrotal Contents
    • Anal
  2. In the Penile Discharge panel, for each of the following items, select the choice that best applies to the patient.
    • Amount
    • Character
  3. On the toolbar above the menu, click the Save icon .
