Pre-Admission episodes

Medication reconciliation can occur during pre-admission. This functionality supports planned admissions where the medication history is captured before admission. In these instances, you can finalize a medication reconciliation that can be activated later by the provider or nurse when the client is officially admitted to the facility. Activated orders will not require an additional physician signature unless your organization uses external pharmacy mode and controlled substances are being prescribed. In this case, two-factor authentication will be required before sending orders to the pharmacy. This option is only available for pre-admission episodes. There is no configuration required.
