Order Entry Notifications Unit Routing Table

Define how order notifications are printed for specific nursing units in the facility and which printer they are sent to.

Avatar Order Entry > Order Entry System Definitions > Order Entry Notifications Unit Routing Table

  1. In the Select Order Type field, select the order type.
  2. In the Select Unit field, select the nursing unit.
  3. For the Send Notification To Printer field, select Yes to send order notifications for this order type to the printer.
  4. In the Printer Name and Printer Path fields, enter the printer name and network path.
  5. For the 'Suppress Printing Of Order Notifications' fields, select whether to suppress printing order notifications for certain types of orders. If Yes is selected for any of these fields, the selected order notifications will not be sent to the printer.
  6. Click Submit.
