Order Entry Notifications Routing Table

Define how order notifications are printed and the printer that will be used.

  • An example of routing order notifications would be sending all pharmacy orders to the pharmacy printer.

Steps 

  1. In the Select Order Type field, select the order type.
  2. For the Send Notification to Printer field, select Yes to send order notifications for this order type to the designated printer.
  3. In the Printer Name and Printer Path fields, enter the printer name and network path.
  4. For the 'Suppress Printing of Order Notifications' fields, select whether to suppress printing order notifications for certain types of orders. If Yes is selected for any of these fields, the selected order notifications will not be sent to the printer.
  5. Click Submit.
