About Flowsheet lab results
myAvatar Flowsheet displays lab results from myAvatar or an external lab information system. You cannot enter lab results directly in myAvatar Flowsheet.
Lab results display in the Lab collection and include the lab status. All lab statuses display according to the scheduled or actual collection date/time. Unscheduled labs default to the ordered date/time until the lab is documented as collected in myAvatar eMAR.
Lab statuses:
- Ordered - details include the first name and last name of the person who ordered the lab and the scheduled collection date/time
- Collected - details include the first name and last name of the person who collected the lab and the collection date/time
- Received - status sent by an external lab information system
- Recollect (lab specimen is rejected) - status sent by an external lab information system
- Not Collected/Cancelled - status sent by an external lab information system or by myAvatar eMAR
- Correction - status sent by an external lab information system
- Resulted - details include the lab result date/time
- Results entered in myAvatar display by the first name and last name of the person who had the lab test done
- Results from an external lab information system may not include the first name and last name of the person who had the lab test done
