Caché Integrity Log
Display the Caché integrity check file if it has been run within the last 30 days.
- This widget is only visible on self-hosted systems. For systems hosted by Netsmart, this data is monitored by the hosting team.
- For the widget to display data, the integrity check log files need to be located at X:\ntst\2010\mgr directory on the server and it should be named ‘integrit.log’. Please note that X: can represent any drive letter.
- Check the Integrity Log daily. Often called "INTEGRIT.LOG" on the database server.
- Review if there are errors at the bottom of the integrity log.
- Do a check of the Global with an error to eliminate false positives.
- To keep users out during this process, it is suggested to shut down the middleware service or the web service and then run the integrity check at that time. Once the Integrity Check is complete, simply restart the middleware.
- Right click the Cache cube and select the control panel.
- Select Local Databases.
- Select the appropriate Namespace where error is occurring.
- Select the Global where the error is occurring from the list.
- Run Integrity Check on the individual Global that was drawing the error. Do this by right clicking on the Global and selecting Integrity Check. If the file has no known errors, the check will say Integrity Check Completed.
Note: Netsmart recommends checking the integrity log, console log and your database sizes daily.
