Attach Individual Notes to Existing Services/Appointments
Attach an independent progress note to a service or appointment, after that service or appointment has been filed. This is useful in the event that a note is written prior to the entry of the related appointment or service, and needs to be attached at a later time.
Prerequisites: Schedule an appointment or service that is related to the existing independent progress note.
- Go to: Avatar CWS > Progress Notes
- In the Client ID field, enter the client ID.
- Click Process Search to select.
- Click Ok.
- If the client has multiple episodes, select the client's episode, click Ok.
- In the Start Date and End Date fields, enter the beginning and end dates to display progress notes.
- In the Note Type field, select the progress note types.
- Click Select Note To Attach.
- Choose the progress note.
- Click Ok.
- If appropriate, click Print Progress Notes.
- In the Link Note field select Appointments or Services.
- In the Start Date and End Date (Appointment/Service) fields, enter the beginning and end dates to display appointments or services (Appointment/Services field).
- In the Appointment/Services field select the appointment or service.
- Click Submit.
