About Input Previous Note Content
The Input Previous Note Content feature enables users to retrieve previous section documentation from the most recently completed note for a patient. Currently, this functionality fetches the last completed note, regardless of whether it was authored by the presently logged-in provider or another one. While the Input Previous Note Content operates on a section-by-section basis, users can also opt to retrieve an entire previous note if this option is enabled by the organization.
Furthermore, to enhance the Input Previous Note Content, we're introducing a dedicated button. This button will be labeled "Input Previous 'Section Name'" and will enable users to retrieve their own previous note content for the selected patient. Additionally, a new "Other Section Content" button will be available, allowing users to access and retrieve historical documentation from prior notes or from different providers.

A recent addition to the Input Previous Note Content workflow involves the ability to detect sections with unaltered content from the previous note. When the Input Previous Note Content is utilized within a section or multiple sections, an icon will appear in the section label to signify that the content within that section remains unchanged from the previous note. If any modifications or updates are made to the documentation in that section, the icon will no longer be displayed since it now differs from the previous note.
Furthermore, the yellow warning banner has been enhanced to include a warning about unchanged content. This improvement allows users to easily spot which sections in their documentation contain content from a previous note that has remained unaltered.
