Availability tracking
Availability Tracking is used to indicate that a client is unavailable to receive medication on the day(s). The associated dictionary is available to track the reason the person is unavailable (hospitalization, guest dosing elsewhere, etc.). If a client is recorded as unavailable on a particular day, they will not be marked as having a missed dose. This is important for reporting, program compliance tracking and associated rules or penalties for missed doses.
Prerequisites:
- In order for Availability Tracking to work properly, the Reason dictionary must be populated.
- Navigate to the Availability Tracking form and select a client.
Note: Required fields are displayed in red. If you are in color blind mode they will display in bold. - Enter a Begin Date and Reason; this will enable the other fields in the form. Fill out these fields as needed.
- Optionally, you can enter an End Date and add Availability Comments in the free-text box.
- When all required fields are complete and you have added any additional comments, click Submit to save the alert.
