Bed Assignment - Cal-PM

Assign a client to a bed in an inpatient or residential treatment facility.

Prerequisite:

  • A client must be enrolled in an inpatient treatment program.
  1. Go to: Avatar PM > Client Management > IP/Residential Management.
  2. In the Select Client screen, enter the Client Name/ID.
  3. Select Search and select the corresponding entry.
    • If the client has multiple episodes, the episode pre-display shows.
    • Select the episode, choose OK.
  4. Enter the Date Of Bed Assignment start date.
  5. Enter the Time Of Bed Assignment start time.
  6. Select the Unit, Room, and Bed.
  7. The Licensed/Unlicensed field shows the bed license status.
  8. Select the Room and Board Billing Code.
  9. Select the Admission Charge Code.
  10. Select the Daily Charge Code.
  11. Select Submit.
