Comorbidity Adjustments Section - PM

Enter comorbidity adjustment information.

  1. The Comorbidity Group Adjustment Factors field is a display only field that shows comorbidity adjustment factors.
  2. In the Description Of Comorbidity Group field, enter the description of the comorbidity group.

  3. In the Adjustment Factor field, enter the adjustment factor for the selected comorbidity group.

  4. In the Diagnosis Group (ICD-10) field, select the diagnoses that fall within the group selected.

  5. In the ICD-10 Codes field, click an ICD-10 code to add to the comorbidity list. An ICD-10 code cannot be included in more than one comorbidity group.

  6. In the ICD-9 Codes field, click an ICD-9 code to add to the comorbidity list. An ICD-9 code cannot be included in more than one comorbidity group.

  7. Click the Add Comorbidity Group To The List button to add the comorbidity group definition and adjustment factor to the Comorbidity Group Adjustment Factors list. Comorbidity group adjustment factors are not filed until the PPS Rate/Adjustment is submitted.

  8. In the Select A Comorbidity Group To Remove From The List field, select a comorbidity group to remove from the Comorbidity Group Adjustment Factors list. This list displays all comorbidity groups in the Comorbidity Group Adjustment Factors list.

  9. Click the Remove Comorbidity Group From The List button to remove the selected comorbidity group from the Comorbidity Group Adjustment Factors list. Comorbidity group adjustment factors are not filed until the PPS Rate/ Adjustment is submitted.
