Enter 837I default information.

The following fields are set up in the Dictionary Update form (RADplus Utilities).

• Delay Reason Code (2300-CLM-20)
• Admission Type (2300-CL1-01)
• Admission Source (2300-CL1-02)
• Patient Status (2300-CL1-03)

1. In the 'Diagnosis Code' field, enter the diagnosis code, and select.

• These values populate the associated 837 segments.
• In the 'Procedure Modifier', and 'Diagnosis Reference' fields, enter information as appropriate.
• The following fields are set up in the Dictionary Update form (RADplus Utilities).
  • Facility Type Code (2300-CLM-05-1)
  • Claim Frequency Code (2300-CLM-05-3)
  • Release of Information Code (2300-CLM-09)

2. In the remaining fields, enter information to populate the associated 837 loops and segments.
