Claim Acknowledgement (277CA) Defaults

Define the information source name values to include in a claim acknowledgement (277CA) file.

Prerequisites:

  • The information must be provided to creating a claim acknowledgement file.
  • The 277 file directory and automation settings are configured on the 277 Claim Acknowledgement section of the Import/Export File Configuration form.
  1. Go to: Avatar MSO > Claims Processing > Claim Acknowledgement (277CA) Defaults.
  2. In the Info Source Entity Identifier Code (2100A-NM1-01) field, select the source of information.
  3. In the Info Source Name (2100A-NM1-03) field, enter the information source name.
  4. In the Info Source Identification Code Qualifier (2100A-NM1-08) field, select the information source qualifier.
  5. In the Info Source Identification # (2100A-NM1-09) field, enter the information source identifier.
  6. Select Submit.
