837P Claim Data Section

Populate the associated loops in the 837P file.

1. In the 837P Claim Data table, click Add.

2. In the Batch Number field, select the batch.

3. In the Claim Number field, select the claim.

4. Claim Information - Loop 2300

• If a data element in 'Claim Information - Loop 2300' section is blank, and there is associated data in the in the Funding Source/Contracting Provider Reporting Defaults form (837 Professional section), the data is included in this form.

5. Enter information to populate loop 2300.

6. If the remaining fields on this section are blank, and there is associated data in the Funding Source/Contracting Provider Reporting Defaults form (837 Professional section), that data is included in this form.
