How to update iOS and TheraOffice iOS Apps

This guide is to direct you how to make sure an iPad is up to date with iOS version, and how to make sure the TheraOffice Mobile Applications are on the latest version.

Applies To:

TheraOffice Mobile Applications (ScheduleVIBE, FunctionVIBE, Documentation)

Steps:

1. Go to settings on the iPad from the home screen. The settings icon is a small grey icon with gears.

2. When in the settings, click General on the left side, and then About on the right side.

3. In this about screen, you can see the current version of iOS on this iPad seen below. Note this down, as we will need to be on .11or above to use TheraOffice mobile applications.

4. Head back a page by going back to general. From the below screen, click on Software Update.

5. Here you should see one of two things. This screen will load for a bit, and then let you know if there is an update available. If there is an update, you will see the Download and Install button as seen below. This will put you onto the newest version that is available for your iPad. Be aware, these often take awhile.

6. By now, we know what version is on the iPad and what the newest version of iOS is compatible with the iPad. This means, that if you cannot update past .10, the mobile apps will be unusable.

7. If we are on .12 or above, the next step is to make sure that TheraOffice mobile applications are also on the newest version.

8. For this step, open up the App Store from the home screen (blue icon with a white A). In this screen, hit search at the bottom, and search for 'theraoffice' as seen below.

9. On number 3 in the above picture, you will see one of three things, one saying OPEN, one saying UPDATE, and one with a cloud (used to download the app). If this doesn't say OPEN, click the UPDATE button, or click on the cloud to download the app(s) of your choosing.

10. The final step is to verify the version number from the app. This version should be 14.1.20.x to work.
