Patient & Case
The Patient & Case application options control various features for the patient informationand case information windows.
- Default Case Name To Current Date: Thisoption will allow for the default case name and date to be set when creating a new case.
- Default Appt. Reminder: This option will allow for the default appointment reminder drop down to be set for creating new patients on the patient information window.
- Disable Copy Case Option: This option will allow for the Copy Case From A Previous Case radio button to be disabled on the New Case window.
- Allow Edit Patient History Created On Date: This option will allow the patient history created on dates to be modified or charged if enabled. By default this feature is set to be disabled.
- Enable Zip Code Lookup: If the Zip Cde Editor is updated, this option will allow users to search for zip codes when adding/editing patient demographic information in the Patient Information screen.
- Default to Approved Diagnosis Codes: This option will only show approved diagnosis codes when adding a diagnosis code to a patient's case.
- *Default Open And Find Patients To Active & Inactive Patients: This option will default the Active Patients Only checkbox to be unchecked in the Open Patient and Find Patient tabs. This allows both tabs to display both Active & Inactive patients by default in each screen.
- *Disable the Submitting Provider Field in Case Information: This option will gray out the submitting provider field in a patient's case; hence, preventing users from settings a submitting provider in the case. If this application option is enabled, all submitting providers must be cleared from patient cases. If the option is enabled and submitting providers are NOT cleared, the field will be greyed out; however, claims will continue to go out under the submitting provider.
