Grid Column Customization

Ever wanted to see more data in a grid than what is displayed by default, but don’t want to change the default view of the Grid? We have a solution for that!

First, have the LookUp get all of the fields you might want to see. Then make the ones you don’t want to see by default not visible by unchecking the Visible checkbox for each of these columns.

Finally, turn on ColumnsQuickCustomize for each level of the Grid where you want this functionality.

Now when you see the Grid, you will have an Icon in the upper left that allows you to include or exclude the columns you want to see.

Selecting this icon will bring up a drop down showing all of the columns being fetched by the LookUp and you can check and/or uncheck the columns you want to see or not see. SaveSelectedRows will save all columns from the LookUp, whether they are displayed or not.
