TIER Report Checklist

For those of you who are using TIER Reports and continue to experience difficulties, we would like to offer a checklist that will assist you in troubleshooting your report.  Below are some of the most common mistakes that users have a made or have identified through testing.• Make sure your report has at least one each of the three components necessary to run successfully (TierReportLookup, TierDNPipeLine, and TierppReport). • Link the TierReportLookup to the TierDNPipeLine and link the TierDNPipeLine to the TierppReport      • If anything changes on the lookup, refresh the pipeline (Right click on pipeline. Select Field Editor. Click Reset button) • If there is no data returned in the report, verify the pipeline being used is correct in TierReportBuilder. (Click on fieldname and look for following in properties) Following the above preliminary steps will ensure that proper output will be displayed for you and your organization.  As always, when the issue seems more complex, Netsmart Tier Support is a phone call or email away.  (see attached pdf for entire Tidbit and accompanying screen shots)
