Overview

The TIER 8.3.5 executable has a new feature that allows the TIER designer to set a grid to automatically expand when opened.

Details

The ExpandGridLevel property can be found on the Object Inspector of the DBTableView that is selected. If the ExpandGridLevel property is selected, the selected grid level and any level beneath it will auto expand when that document is opened.

You can set the ExpandGridLevel property by clicking on any TcxGridDBTableView level within a grid in TIER Form Designer. Enable the property on the Object Inspector of the level where you want to start expanding the grid.

Below is a before-and-after example of the Agency / Program Admission grid being set to expand on the first level with the Client Facesheet form.
