Before you use the PECOS Utility

Path: Administration>Utilities>PECOS Utility

If you want to run the utility from the application (Administration>Utilities), ensure that you use Netsmart Homecare version 7.0.0 or later.

Download the CMS file from:

http://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Provider-Enrollment-and-Certification/MedicareProviderSupEnroll/MedicareOrderingandReferring.html.

Be sure to download the .zip file (not the .pdf one).

Important: Do not extract files from the .zip file.
