Assign a Provider Taxonomy Code to a Role

Path: Administration>General>Roles

  1. Go to Administration>General>Roles. to Administration>General>Roles. The Roles window opens.
  2. Select the role to which you want to assign a provider taxonomy code.
  3. In the Taxonomy Code field, enter the appropriate code. If this role is going to submit electronic claims in the ANSI 837 Inst. v4010 format, you must assign it a taxonomy code.
  4. Save your changes.
