Add PPS reimbursement parameters

These windows display the PPS reimbursement parameters as dictated by CMS. They are available for the Business Units with all the agency types except H (Hospice). The PPS parameters are automatically updated upon upgrade. When CMS changes the values, Netsmart Homecare updates the application and communicates the necessary instructions to your agency.

Important: Do not delete the existing PPS parameters because this will cause financial data loss.

Normally, the new data with the new CMS regulations applied becomes available after the upgrade of the Netsmart Homecare application. However, you can update the needed values manually following the instructions:

• Add PPS HHRG Case-Mix
• Add PPS NRS Severity
• Set up Post-Refinement PPS parameters
