Patient Statement report – Define tab options

Path: Reports>Financial>Patient Statement 

Option Description

Format

Select the format for the report: Standard, Invoice, or Detail.

Address

Select the address to print on the report: Patient or Guarantor.

If there is no guarantor or the guarantor does not have an address, the application prints the patient's address. If there are multiple guarantors, the application prints the primary payer's address.

Separate Statement Per Pay Source

Select to generate a new page per pay source when a patient has claims belonging to multiple payers.

Print Billing Rate Description

Select to include billing rate descriptions rather than service code descriptions on the statements.

Show Payment/ Adjustment Detail

Select to show the date of the payments and adjustments.

Include Zero Balance Claims

Select to display the claims that have a zero balance due.

Include Finance Charge

Select to display additional charges assigned to the statement when balances are overdue. The finance charges are calculated on the report only. If you want to increase AR by this amount, you must make a manual entry.

Finance Charge Ageing By

Enter the number of days used to determine when to apply the finance charge.

Include Discount Charge

To display the discount charges applied to balance due on the report, select this check box and enter the percent discount. The discount charges are calculated on the report only. If you want to decrease AR by this amount, make a manual entry.

Comments

To add comments to appear under the Comments header of the generated report, enter the comments, up to 1000 characters. Otherwise, skip this field.
