Demographic

Select the appropriate demographic defined in Administration > General > Demographics.

Value

Select one of the options for the demographic category. For a valid admission, each demographic must have at least the Value field completed. The selection options are defined in Administration > General > Demographics.

Start Date

Specify the start date for the demographic. A start date for the first demographic record is not mandatory, however, it must be specified if you have more than one value row. If the start date is not specified when additional rows are added, it will be set to the current date automatically. The initial start date must be less than or equal to the patient's admission date. Any start date of the demographic must be less than or equal to the current date.

End Date

The end date is set automatically for the demographics. It equals the start date of the next demographic minus one. The start and end date ranges for demographics are not allowed to overlap. If you delete one of the records for the selected demographic, the end date of the previous record changes automatically to fit the start date of the next record.

Group by Demographic

Select this check box to filter all the values by demographics categories.

Show Active

Select this check box to view all demographics without end dates assigned.
