About View Clinical Data window

Path: Patient>Clinical>Clinical Monitoring>View Clinical Data

Using the View Clinical Data window, you can view readings data either graphically in the form of trends or in grids. The data are shown graphically by default. You can select the level of data specificity in the Display section of the window. To view the grid display, double-click the individual graph.

To view this window, you should have the appropriate privilege granted by the Netsmart Homecare administrator.

The View Clinical Data window contains five tabs:

  • Vital Signs
  • Measurements
  • Labs
  • Spirometry
  • Scales

All fields and columns of these tabs correspond to the ones in the Add/Edit Clinical Data window. To find their description, see About Add/Edit Clinical Data window.

You can click the Current or Current & Previous radio button in the Admission section to specify the appropriate admission type.

You can specify the date range for which you want the clinical monitoring history to be displayed. If needed, select Last Two Weeks, Last Four Weeks options, or specify the period in the Custom Date Range.

To generate clinical monitoring history for the recent readings, click the Last radio button, and then enter the number of readings you want to view in the Last field.

If needed, click the Units of Measure button and specify the units of measure for the readings.

You can select the Show Erroneous Data check box to include erroneous data from the readings in the window or Suppress Empty Rows—to exclude the empty rows from the readings displayed onscreen.

When in grid view, you can click Trend to view clinical data as a trend and perform the trend analysis for the patient, Edit – to change the entered values, or Close – to return to the graphic view.

If you want to generate the history for the selected patient or to refresh the data after making changes in the Display section, click the Refresh button.
