RXA-5 Segment
The RXA-5 Segment will be sending 998 when no vaccination is administered. This is accomplished via modifications to the "Historical Immunizations Registry - Public Health" form.
The "Vaccine" field will default to "998 No Vaccination Administered Value" and become disabled, when either "Disease with Presumed Immunity" or "Disease with Serological Evidence of Immunity" are populated. In addition, the field that was not selected will also become disabled, preventing other entries.

MPI IDs Are Supported By CareConnect
Netsmart can configure the system to use MPI IDs in the CareConnect process and to display the "MPI ID" on the "Demographics" form.
MPI ID's will be part of the "ClientEventAddPersonInfo" messages sent to CareConnect. On the setup forms, the "PID4" Segment and "MPI ID" selections have been added. These set-ups will be accessible only by Netsmart.

"Inventory Site Transfer" Performance Improvement
The "Inventory Item" Look Up Table has been added to the "Inventory Site Transfer" form. The system will use this additional Look Up Table field to filter records more concisely, then populate the "Container" SubForm with the results.

Medication issued orders will not allow dispenses for orders with 0 refills remaining.
When "Auto-decrement Refills Remaining" agency setting is enabled, Medication orders refills will decrement until 0 refills remaining, then will not allow more dispenses.

Vaccine Container Date Expiration
Vaccine Containers with expired dates cannot be administered.
When administering an Immunization Event, "Vaccine Container Number" LUT will be disabled until "Administered Date" field is filled out. After "Administered Date" field is filled, Vaccine Containers in LUT will only display if not expired.

CareConnect HL7 PID 5.7
The HL7 PID 5.7 segment is supported in the VXU Messages.
The "Name Type Field" will display in PID 5.7 segment on the HL7 message. "Name Type Field" will default from System Settings unless filled out in Client Demographics section.
