Billing Runs for Retro Billing. Retro Billing are for items that are retroactively updated rate wise. In example, for Medicare, typically you have a fee schedule that comes out on 1/1/2020 for Physicians and you end up billing those rates until 4/1/2020 etc when they release an updated fee schedule, allowing one to rebill retroactively back to 1/1/2020 using the new rate fee schedule.

The main difference in the retro run form is there are no checkboxes for AR or AP. As retros only apply to AR.
