Save a draft of a service
In Service Entry you can save a draft of a service if your system administrator has that feature enabled.
Note: The Save Draft feature is only available in myEvolv NX.
System administrator: To enable service events to be saved in Draft mode, go to: Agency Setup > Services Setup > By Program > Individual Services and select Draft Service Option for the service.
- Go to: Client > Case Management > Service Management > Service Entry.
- Search for and select a client.
- Enter a service event.
- In the toolbar click Save Draft.
- Click Save.
Working with drafts:
- When you open a draft the word *DRAFT* appears in the form title.
- For services in Draft mode, a draft icon appears in the following places in the system:
- Service entry
- Standard event listing
- Staff timesheet
- When an event is in draft mode:
- The event cannot be submitted for approval.
- The user who saved the draft will not be able to submit their timesheet.
Special note about NYSCRI Progress note forms
When there are missing fields or default values on system-delivered NYSCRI Progress note forms, the associated event disappears when the staff member selects Save Draft.
To resolve this issue, please update your NYSCRI Progress note forms as noted below:
- Add the default value of currentAgency to the Agency field.
- Add belongs_to_event field and default value of getModuleProperty('currentBelongs2Event').
Netsmart will update system-delivered NYSCRI Progress notes forms in a future release to include the missing values.
