Manage shift requests

The Shift Requests Management form displays all the shift requests assigned to the shift manager. The requests are grouped by Facility/Program. This form also provides any responses from matched staff (such as Accepted or Denied).

Go to: Agency > Centralized Scheduling > Shift Management > Shifts Management

Within the area outlined in red, you can:

  • Refresh the matches for all displayed rows.
  • Enter the start date and end date to filter the displayed rows.
  • In the Accepted Staff field click the binoculars icon and select the staff to view only those rows where that particular staff has accepted a shift.
  • Click Update to update the rows displayed.

With the area outlined in green, you can:

  • View each shift request
  • Refresh the matches for that particular shift/row
  • Click the underlined shift link to view the shift details
  • Click the underlined requirements link to view the generate shift request window

The rows are color-coded: 

  • Red - Within 72 hours
  • Yellow - Between 72 hours and 7 days
  • Green - Over 7 days
  • White - Filled shift
  • To view a list of available staff who match the shift requirements, click the underlined Matches link.

Note: Any staff member who is already assigned a shift will not be included in this list. 

To view all potential staff members who match the shift requirements including staff members who are already assigned a shift at that time, right-click the underlined Matches link and select Calculate Potential Matches.

Note: This option is not available for requests that have been filled, split, or occured in the past.
