Document a family case treatment plan
A family case treatment plan is typically used in family reunification programs where the goal is to reunite family members, such as when a child is placed in foster care. A family case treatment plan applies to the family as a whole and as well as individual family members.
- Go to Family Cases > Clinical Information > Case Planning > Planning.
- Select a family case.
- Under Program select Start New Plan.
- Complete the required fields such as Date Started/Date Completed.
- Select the Area of Treatment.
- Select Category and choose the desired category.
- Select a goal component.
- Select Problem Addressed and choose the desired problem.
This problem applies to the entire family. - Select Goal.
The goals available for selection are ones associated with the category selected for the Area of Treatment. - Select the desired goal.
- Select Intervention.
- Select Method and select the desired method.
The methods available for selection are ones associated with the category selected for the Area of Treatment. - Select Case Member and choose the family member. This is where you enter methods to be addressed for individual family members.
- Complete the required fields and any additional fields as needed.
- Select Save.
Result: The resulting initial treatment plan is listed with the desired dates and a status of 'Modifiable'.
