Correct duplicate Social Security numbers
If you encounter the duplicate SSN validation when trying to enter a Social Security number for a client, you need to identify where this number has been used before in the system.

You can search by Social Security number under Setup > System > People in System (No Security) to see the person with that Social Security number and where in the system they are located, either as client, family member, and so on.

Then you can correct the Social Security number that was incorrectly entered for the previous individual so that you will no longer have duplicates.
