Set up a Care Day program

A program can be designated as a Care Day Program.

  • A client cannot be in more than one Care Day Program at a time.
  • Care Day Programs are used for producing services. These services can be billed or paid for as a Care Day Service.
  • Other services can be provided at that time but cannot be a Care Day Service.
  • myEvolv tracks the services performed for a client enrolled into a Care Day Program.
  1. Go to Agency Setup > Agency > Program Setups > Care Day.
  2. Select Add New > Program Setup - Care Day.
  3. In the Program Information section, enter information in the following required fields:
    • Program Type - This is the type of program that will be linked ot this Care Day program.
    • Program Name - Enter the name for this Care Day program.
    • Code - This is the program identifier. Each code must be unique, and is used as an aide to search for the program instead of typing the full name.
  4. In the Program Description field, enter a description for the program.
    • Select the timestamp icon to enter the date, current time, and user's name in the Program Description field.
  5. In Gen Code, enter the gender code (M for male, F for female).
  6. Select Enlighten Environment Class to integrate with Netsmart's Enlighten Analytics software. This reporting tool captures financial, operational, and clinical data.
  7. In the Link to Agency and Facilities section, in the Agency field, select the search icon.
  8. In the Agency Module Table window, select the appropriate agency.
    • Programs must be associated with an agency.
    • Programs are defined system wide and are operated only with an agency.
    • Facilities that are not multi-agency must be associated programs.
  9. Facilities Providing the Program, Related Services, and Related Modifiers are read-only sub-reports showing the facilities, services, and modifiers that have already been linked to this program.
  10. Select Save.
