Link a treatment plan event to a program

Link a treatment plan to a program so clinicians can enroll a client into a program and start a treatment plan for them in the Planning section of the Client module (Client > Case Management > Plan Development > Planning).

Prerequisite:

  1. Go to Agency Setup > Services Setup > By Program > Plan Setup.
  2. In the row for the program you want to link to the event, select Actions and Open Form.
  3. In the Setup section, complete the required fields (marked with an asterisk) and any other fields as appropriate:
    1. The Program is automatically selected.
    2. For the Service Facility Type, select the type of facility associated with the program.
    3. For the Planning Event, select the initial planning event you created for the treatment plan.
    4. Optional. Select the Can Submit check box to indicate the treatment plan can be submitted for approval.
      Note: If your agency uses routing, it's recommended to clear the Can Submit check box.
    5. Optional. Select the Electronically Signed check box to indicate the treatment plan can be signed electronically.
    6. Optional. The Custom Output field is generally not used unless your agency has paid for custom development by Netsmart.
    7. Optional. For the Routing Workflow Scheme, select a workflow to use for the treatment plan review event. This is the same workflow used for the initial event.
  4. Select Save.
