Limit access to Resource Families

Overview

The 'My Foster Homes' widget on the Homeview should be used if workers should only be able to open the records for Resource Families to which they are directly assigned. The same logic applies to the 'My Applicants' widget. This article will review how to set up this access. 

Resolution

1) To ensure the limited access, the Navigation Scheme will be altered to remove access to the Resource Families Module: Setup > Security / Access > Navigation Access Setup > Access Definition.

2) For the user, although the Resource Families Module is no longer an option, they will be able to open the applicable records and manage their Homes through the Homeview. 

Note: the Homes that appear on the Homeview are those to which the worker is assigned, which happens here: Resource Families > Foster/Adoptive Home > Information > Worker Assignments
