Homeview Setup

myEvolv Homeview is a customizable and efficient way to present the information a user needs on a day-to-day basis, allowing for quick access to charts, reports, and tasks. A system administrator can tailor the tabs available in Homeview widgets so they suit the user's role and the tasks they perform.

Give role(s) access to widgets

Users must have access to the widget in order for it to be selectable and accessible the Homeview.

  1. Go to Agency Setup > Other Setups > myEvolv Setup > myEvolv Setup
  2. Next to the desired Widget, select Actions then Open.
  3. Select Add Allowed? for any of the appropriate roles listed.
Note: Edit Allowed and Delete Allowed do not impact user access to the Widget.
  4. Save changes.
Inactivate widgets

For any widget components that your agency will not use, you can make a Widget not active. For example, if your agency does not manage foster homes, you likely would not need the My Foster Homes widget.

  1. Go to Agency Setup > Other Setups > myEvolv Setup > myEvolv Setup
  2. Next to the desired Widget, select Actions then Open.
  3. Deselect the Is Active check box.
  4. Save changes.
Limit the Formset Members available via widgets

The purpose of Homeview is to provide users with quick access to information and areas of the system they use daily. To simplify navigation for users, you can limit the number of tabs they see on the Client Information screen via widgets. The user's most common actions should be considered when deciding on necessary widget access.

  1. Go to Setup > User Tools > Formset Maintenance > Form Sets > FormSet Members
  2. In the toolbar, select Formset .
  3. Search for and select My Client Information. All formset members listed here are available when accessing client information via widgets.
  4. Select formset member name to expand and make active/inactive per your agency's needs.
  5. Use the Order in Set to determine what order the forms will display in the tabs when launching to Client information.
  6. Save changes.
Limit the Formset Members available by Navigation Scheme

Further limit access to Active formset members using Navigation Schemes. Remove access to unneeded formset members to improve navigation and reduce information risk. For example, a nurse needs access to demographics, health visits, medications, labs, and service entry, but a therapist should be limited to demographics, collaterals, treatment planning, and service entry.

  1. Go to Agency Setup > Staff and Security Setup > Navigation Access > Access to Forms.
  2. Select Navigation Scheme and choose a scheme to update.
  3. Under Select a Module, choose myEvolv.  Expand the group and allow or deny access as appropriate for the navigation scheme.
  4. Save changes.
