Staff Credential Based

Below demonstrates individual service rates based on a staff member's credentials. The credentials for a staff member are set up under their security profile.

• The rate is associated to 1 plan/contract.
• The time chart used does not consider the duration on the service. Each service will equal 1 unit.
• The rate details say the following... "Effective 01/01/2005, for clients who are between the ages of 0 and 98, our agency's normal rate for the service is $50 per unit for staff providing service with CMS, BS, BA, CAC credential, $75 per unit for staff providing service with MA, CSW, MA LCC, , MSW LC, MSN credential, $85 per unit for staff providing service with Psychologist credential and $65 per unit for staff providing service with Social Worker, LLP credential. If the staff providing service does not have credentials setup in their profile, the system will not create a claim. The procedure codes on all claims produced will be 6051."
• A duration on the service entered as 45 minutes would equal 1 unit. The system bill the amount based on the staff credentials.
