Restrictions and Upgrades

About Restrictions

There are several restrictions when creating, deleting and modifying forms.

Tasks that Agencies can perform

  • Create new forms ONLY from existing forms supplied by Netsmart(Agencies can not create new forms from scratch).
  • Deleting forms is ONLY allowed for forms that have been created by the agency.
  • The 'Order In Form' of group heading can be modified.
  • Add their own groups
  • Can only reorder or disable (make invisible) non-required Netsmart supplied fields.
  • Can change group captions
  • Can change the captions of Required Fields

Tasks that Agencies cannot perform

  • Editing Forms supplied by Netsmart.
  • Adding new form families
  • Deleting Form Families
  • Modifying any properties of a Form Family

How Netsmart will handle changes with Upgrades

  • User Forms Left alone unless a field has been made required that was previously not required
  • New Forms and Form Families are Added to the system
  • Existing forms non required field properties less order and visibility (Unless now made required) are modified
  • Existing forms required fields all properties less order are modified.
  • Changes to the form for which users forms were copied from will also be made to the user forms.
