Increase SQL Query Timeout

If the SQL Query timeout defaults to 30 seconds, complete the steps to change the timeout.

  1. Open the registry editor start > run regedit.
  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Shell\DataProject\SQLQueryTimeout.
  3. Change the SQLQueryTimeout DWORD Value to the decimal 1800 and click OK.
